Basil Deviled Eggs

12 hard boiled eggs
Salt and fresh ground pepper
1 1/2 chopped fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped
9 tbsp. mayonnaise

Peel hard boiled eggs and cut them lengthwise. Carefully remove yolks and place in a bowl. Set whites aside and mash yolks with a fork. Place basil and mayonnaise in a bowl of a food processor; blend 2 minutes. Add basil mixture to bowl of yolks and mix. Season with salt and pepper. Fill egg white halves with filling and serve chilled.
