Hire Free Employees To Promote Your Online Business

by: Jim Tenenbaum

Can you imagine having employees that are promoting your business for FREE? There's no catch, this really happens! By starting your own affiliate program you can have an army of sales soldiers working for you, promoting your product and gaining you more sales.

These people are willing to promote your site for free because you will give them a % of each sale. Make sure that the percentage that you are offering them does not put the item below cost, you still want to make a profit even if it's less of a profit.

Having other people promote your site is like "found money" because you're still getting the same sales that you're used to from your own promotions, but you're also getting new sales coming in from your affiliates. So don't worry about having to pay them a percentage, you'll actually make more money this way.

Creating an affiliate program is easy. You just sign up with an affiliate tracking program like DirectTrack or something similar, hire a graphics artist to design your affiliate page and some buttons and banners, then promote your affiliate program and wait for the affiliates to sign up. Thats it! It's also helpful to send out a monthly newsletter and inform your affiliates of product changes and new products offered, etc.

Where can you find affiliates to promote your new program to? Message forums, paid advertisements in ezines and newsletters, even send out your promotions to your competitors. They have targetted traffic for your mutual products and will oftentimes promote competitor sites for the extra income.

So start your own affiliate program and let others promote your products for you! It's a win/win situation for all!
